In Loving Memory of Justin David Guay
March 14, 1974 – June 21, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Justin David Guay of Kitchener, Ontario, on June 21, 2026, at the age of 52.
Born in Brampton, Ontario, on March 14, 1974, Justin lived a life defined by his love for family, his passion for the outdoors, and his appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.
Justin will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Mackenzie (Kyle); his mother, Mary Lynne (John); his sister, Michelle (Daniel), his niece and nephew, as well as his aunts and uncles. He will be remembered for his fierce loyalty, kind heart, quick wit, and the belief he often shared: “Nothing changes if nothing changes.” Above all, he will be remembered for the countless memories and laughter he created with those he loved. He was predeceased by his father, John, whom he loved deeply and missed every day.
Justin’s greatest joy was being Mackenzie’s dad. She was the light of his life, and he was incredibly proud of the person she has become. He treasured every moment they spent together—from sharing laughs and attending concerts to simply enjoying each other’s company. His love and unwavering support for her never faltered.
Justin found peace and happiness on the water with a fishing rod in hand. He loved sharing his passion for fishing with Mackenzie and other family members, patiently teaching them the tricks of the trade and the simple joy of waiting for a fish to bite.
A devoted sports fan, Justin rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on the New York Giants, the Toronto Blue Jays, and the Kitchener Rangers. He was also an avid music lover with an appreciation for every genre. Some of his happiest moments were spent attending concerts or enjoying live music with Mackenzie, family, and friends.
Justin had a gift for storytelling and an incredible sense of humor that could brighten any room. Whether sharing old memories, telling a funny story, or making someone laugh when they needed it most, he had a way of making everyone around him feel welcomed, valued, and at ease.
Although his time with us was far too short, Justin leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty, laughter, and unforgettable memories. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
“I’ll see you down the road somewhere.”
“No dress rehearsal, this is our life.”
