John Schenk of Elora, Ontario passed away peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital with family by his side, on Friday March 28th, 2025 at age 82, after fighting a short battle with cancer.

John will be fondly remembered by his sister Ann Giesel, and brothers Han Schenk and Gary Schenk (Rose); and he will be missed dearly by his loving children Chris Schenk, David Schenk (Teri) and Becca Mayes (Billy).

John was the proud grandfather of Christopher (Amy), Mathew (Melanie), Morgan (Aaron) and Kiersten; and proud great grandfather of Maiya, Tyme and Jensen. John will also be missed dearly by his partner Inez Redwood, nieces and nephews and many friends.

John was a strong and amazing man who touched many lives.

Memorial donations made to Groves Memorial Hospital or Aboyne Hospice would be appreciated by John’s family.
