It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Frances Fonte, a vibrant, fearless soul whose light touched everyone she met. To know Frances was to witness life in its fullest expression — louder, brighter, and infinitely more colorful.

Frances was bold, eccentric, and gloriously free-spirited. She was the kind of person who could walk into any room and instantly change its energy — laughter would ripple, stories would pour out, and suddenly everyone would feel just a little more alive. She didn’t just live life; she commanded it, painting every moment with her fearless personality and wild charm.

She was a devoted mother to her two wonderful children, Joshua and Melina, who were her heart and her purpose. She was also a loving sister to Tony, Dominic, and Enzo, a cherished aunt to Anthony, and a beloved daughter to Frank and Teresa Fonte.

Frances was never afraid to be herself — wildly authentic, endlessly curious, and beautifully unpredictable. She danced to her own rhythm, spoke her mind without hesitation, and loved deeply, fiercely, and without apology.

Her passing leaves behind countless memories — the kind that make you laugh through tears and feel grateful just to have been part of her orbit. Though she’s gone far too soon, her spirit will never fade. Frances will live on in every story told, every spark of courage, and every moment of unapologetic joy.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Hart Chapel, located at 1099 Gordon St., Guelph on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, with Words of Remembrance at 1:00 pm.
