Passed away at home on Saturday, June 21, 2025, in his 84th year, after battling a long illness, with his loving wife of 61 years, Vivienne, at his bedside. Liam was born on March 12, 1942, in Dublin, Ireland. He retired in 2005, after working as a Hostler at CN Rail and Via Rail Canada, for 39 years. A man of strong conviction, with a stoic presence, that was always felt by those around him. He had a good run and lived life his way. Loving father to Kevin, Sean, and Erin. Loving father-in-law to Pauline Andrade and the late Paulo Carreiro. Loving grandfather to Justin, Sean, Taylor, and Liam. Predeceased by grandsons, Brandon and Daniel. Loving great-grandfather to Carter, Grace, Connor, and Brielle. Cremation followed by private service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sick Kids Hospital, in his memory.
