It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Donald Louis Cyr at his home on Thursday, July 30, 2026, in his 82nd year.

Don was the beloved husband of Patricia for 38 wonderful years of marriage.

He was predeceased by his parents, Donat and Mignonne Cyr, and by his siblings, René, Alain, Lucien, and Micheline. Don leaves behind his sister, Louise of Hawkesbury, and his brother, Yves (Denise) of Cornwall. He will also be missed by his nieces, nephews and many friends.

Don dedicated more than 50 years to the drywall industry, proudly owning and operating his own company.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Dr. William Ruddock and the compassionate team at Bayshore Home Health for their exceptional care and support.

Arrangements entrusted to Grand River Cremation Services. Cremation has taken place. There will be a private burial.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
